COMPLETED CLIENT PROJECT · MAINTAINED WHILE THE BUSINESS IS PAUSED

Rugger Tours: a complete tour website.

Rugger Educational Tours needed a website and supporting materials for college discovery tours. The completed work brought together WordPress content management, tour packages, WooCommerce booking and deposit workflows, and an owner’s guide. The existing website remains hosted in a maintenance-only capacity while the business is paused.

Connect tour information with booking

The website uses WordPress and WooCommerce with the Turio theme and Elementor editing tools. Tour package pages connect the itinerary and gallery information to the associated commerce product, with booking or enquiry options depending on the tour.

The documented setup covers tour dates, capacity limits, virtual products, and optional additional services. It was built for an educational-tour business rather than a generic online product catalog.

A closer look at the website

The delivered design combines Rugger’s identity, campus imagery, clear navigation, and information tailored to schools and districts. These screenshots were captured from the existing website in October 2026.

Support the operational workflow

The handoff documents a 50% deposit arrangement, partial-payment reminders, custom checkout fields for student information, and order exports. Those pieces help connect the public tour page with the information the owner needs to manage bookings.

  • Tour package and itinerary presentation
  • WooCommerce products and booking connections
  • Deposit and partial-payment configuration
  • Custom checkout information and CSV order exports
  • Owner instructions for pages, products, tours, and coupons

The project archive also includes branding, tour brochures, itinerary documents, and promotional materials. Together, they support a consistent presentation across the website and the information shared with families and schools.

Make routine updates manageable

The owner’s how-to guide explains how to edit pages, add or update products, manage tour packages, review sales information, create coupons, and export orders. The handoff is part of the deliverable: the owner should have a practical way to use and update the system.

The completed project remains an example of delivered website and booking work. The business’s current pause is separate from the completion of that work. The owner has kept the existing website hosted for maintenance until the hosting term expires or the business is reactivated; tours are not presented here as currently available to book. What this means for your project

If your business has bookings, deposits, detailed checkout information, or administrative exports, those requirements should shape the website from the beginning. Website development can include those connected workflows, with owner guidance and ongoing support scoped around your needs.

We’ll define the information customers need, the work your team does after a booking, and how you want to maintain the result. Then we can agree on a realistic first version and estimate.
